Victoria records 25 new local COVID-19 cases

Victoria has recorded 25 new local cases of COVID-19 overnight, all linked to existing outbreaks, with 12 of those in isolation while infectious.

More than 30,000 Victorians came forward for testing overnight as the state's tally of currently active cases lifts to 185.

The results come amid a worsening situation in NSW, with many fearing the sharp increase in cases will lead to further transmission in Victoria.
