Queensland Parliament in lockdown after protests outside

Queensland Parliament has been placed into lockdown due to a protest occurring outside.

Speaker Curtis Pitt said the parliament was forced to lock down amid fears protesters may enter the precinct.

Queensland Police said there was a risk of "attempted intrusion of the precinct", according to reports.
