A man is in an induced coma after a gas explosion in the New South Wales town of Mudgee.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter flew to the town just after 10pm last night following the explosion inside a home.
Two people had been injured and were taken to Mudgee hospital.

There, a 45-year-old man was placed in an induced coma and put on life support before being flown to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition.
He had suffered burns to his feet, chest and abdominal area.
The second, female patient was treated at Mudgee hospital for minor burns.
